2014 Baifuzangcang Canglu Bingdao Ancient Tree

2014 tea from Hong Kong based boutique brand Baifuzangcang. Material in this tea comes from ancient trees in Bingdao.

The tea has been in natural storage in Taiwan, and has been transformed making it ready to drink now. Brews orange, oily and thick, comfortable and with grounding qi.

This is a very good tea, but storage could have been cleaner, as it is distracting in first steeps. It is not musty though, as can often be the case with Taiwan storage. I have discounted it accordingly because of that.
